Privacy notice
Tiya Ballet ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal information described here.
This website
This website does not use cookies, does not run tracking or advertising scripts and does not collect information through forms. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.
Bookings
When you book a class, you do so through our online booking system, which processes your details on our behalf. We collect your name and contact details, your child's name and date of birth, any medical or additional needs you tell us about, emergency contacts and who may collect your child.
We use this to run classes safely, contact you about your bookings and take payment. Our lawful basis is performing our contract with you. For health information about your child, we rely on your explicit consent and on our obligations to keep children safe.
Emails
If you email us, we keep your message and contact details to reply and keep a record of what was agreed.
Photos
We do not take or share photos of children without written consent from a parent or carer. You can withdraw consent at any time.
How long we keep information
We keep booking and payment records for six years after your last class, for accounting purposes. We delete medical and contact details 12 months after your child stops attending, unless we must keep them longer for safeguarding reasons.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the business (our booking platform, payment provider and email host), and with authorities where the law or safeguarding duties require it. We never sell your information.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold, or object to how we use it. Email hello@tiyaballet.com. If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
